The Mysterious Tarot
The Tarot is a very mysterious and complex Divination tool. A deck of tarot cards consists of 78 cards. The 78 cards are separated in two groups. The 22 Major Arcana and the 56 Minor Arcana, the latter being similar to regular playing card decks. Now before we familiarize yourself with the 78 cards, lets familiarize yourself with the four main suits of the Minor Arcana.
The Suit Of Cups
The water people (suit of cups) are loving and very emotional. They make good parents and tend to concentrate their work on taking care of the very young, nursing, the sick, and caring for the elderly.
The Suit Of Swords
The air people (suit of swords) are very clever and quick-thinking. They are the inventors and teachers. They are also in charge of communications and all things concerning intellegence. It also snows a lot in their neck of the woods.
The Suit Of Rods
The fire people (suits of rods) are the warriors and protect us all in times of need. They are full of fire and drive, and although a little stubborn in their attitude (convinced that they are superior). Their intentions are well-meaning. It is decreed that they are the gatherers, provicling all four leprechaun suits with food and other necessities.
The Suit Of Pentacles
The earth people (suit of pentacles) are down to earth, logical people who take care of the finances and count the gold. They are very trustworthy, so it is decreed that they are treasures.
**Please note that in some decks the suit of rods can be replaced for the suit of wands!**
