Monsters Volume 3
Witches and wizards are extremely susceptible to possesion by ghosts and other spirits. When a witch/wizard is possessed, they lose their magical powers and are helpless against the spirit. Another magical person must come to their rescue. The way you deal with a possessed person is different depending on the person. If it is a friend you must go over and encircle the possessed person, and chant, "What is mine you cannot take, what is yours don't take away. Leave me with my friend today, You, you, go away!" If you are dealing with an enemy, you say, "Though we have fought, you must not go, possessor leave, through the straits of woe. Feel the pain, you now inflict, Go, Go before the tict. Aurevtict!" If you are dealing with a family member, you simply say, "Take no blood of mine, nor will I take yours!"
Hendragonies
Hendragonies are nasty creatures who will "square" you by throwing a golden powder at you. As soon as the powder touches you, you will find yourself bunched up in a square, unable to move, and in a very uncomfortable position. When you see a hendragonie reach into their pocket you have to get your wand ready. However, you don't want to perform any spell yet. You must wait until they throw the golden powder at you, at which point you must temporarily freeze time, using the dueling spell, "Timico Alarmus." The hendragonie will then be frozen, it's powder suspended in midair. It is then necessary to paralyze the hendragonie, as the time freezing charm does not last long. Many people make the mistake of trying to put a hendragonie in a full body bind or a leg bind. However, you must not do this at any cost. The hendragonies have adapted over the years, and when you try and put a paralyzing spell on them, it will reflect harmlessly off a shield covering their paralysis spot. The spell will then reflect back on you, which will put you in a bind. Instead, you must use another spell, "Mobiliacorpus" to move them to the spot where the golden dust is headed. When the time runs out, the dust will "square" them, leaving them paralyzed but not dead. You then have the option of any deadly curses, but the one that generally is used is the Hendralocking Death Bid. This is simple yet effective. You point your wand at the paralyzed hendragonie, and say, "Die now, do no more harm, a square ghost will be all that's left!
Inogardied."
Invisibigs
Invisibigs are invisible creatures. You can't see them at all, but if you have an invisibig detector, you will see their laser eyes, with which they kill you. An invisibig kills you by climbing onto your foot and using it's eyes to infest your body, eating away first at your soul, and then at your body. If an invisibig crawls onto your foot, you must react quickly! Invisibigs work very fast. To block a invisibig you must use a patronus. Not the "Expecto Patronum" used against dementors, but "Expecto Eronunus", which produces a gold patronus which will envelop your body only. If many of them rush at you you must say "Expecto Eronunus" again, forming a double protection, then kill them one by one, using the spell, "Hagtipests." Once you have gotten rid of most of them, you can use the spell, "Hagtipestisentas" This will only work if about 75% of them are already gone, otherwise the spell will backfire and burst your patronus. Many dark arts creatures have a head creature, and the invisibigs do. The head invisibig can kill you with its laser eyes. To kill the head invisibig, you must use the block for Spochentagor, laser eyes.
