Goblin Rebellion
During the years leading up to the twelfth Goblin Rebellion that began in 1721 and ended in 1779 many Goblins where scrutinized by a way of ill treatment. Such cases occur with Gredric the Grouch who campaigned for Goblin rights during the years leading up the Rebellion, Fredric the Ferocious and Ronald the rusty who even through he lead his band of Goblins to victory at Fly trap swamp in 1723, two years after the Rebellion had began, he was not so intelligent and later in 1726 accidentally jumped of a castle Rampart in the middle of the night thinking that the castle was on fire. All these Goblins among many others have been singled out and had forced them to Rebel against all Wizards and Witches. In 1721 Bodric the Brave a leading Goblin army commander of the time declared war on all Wizards and Witches. He summoned the Goblins long time allies the Trolls and Giants to join them in their many campaigns across Europe. Some of the most important battles of the War were fought over German ground where many Goblins and Wolves died. But let's not forget you little Wizards and Witches that the Goblins fought against many Knights in full suits of Armour. Even though most were just Souls of dead Knights and soldiers they still moved around freely inside their suits of Armour and fought harder that any other fighting force of the time. A leader of a Wizard army named Mordrake Morsmordore a retired Army General lead the charge of the battle of Banshee woods. After six days of hard fighting he finally won. Over 9000 Goblins lay dead and only 200 knights. The cannons that Mordrake Morsmordore brought with him to the battle probably had something to do with the outcome. As you can see in your books there is a picture of him after the battle.
In Goblin History is he is said to have been Brave and Cunning and as Urgot the Unforgetful once said "He who out triumphs me may win the battle, But no living thing on the face of this Earth can take away a Goblin's freedom."
Now Boys and Girls turn over the page and study the three pictures of The Battle of Banshee woods, the aftermath of the Battle of Dragon Forest and a picture of Banshee Woods itself.
The Aftermath of what happened at the Battle of Dragon Forest. Even through the Battle was fought mostly in the town itself is still called the Battle of Dragon Forest because that's where the Town's defenders retreated to after the Goblins had taken the Forest edge.
